Keana Marie, Creator

Keana Marie is a French-Brazilian actor, writer, filmmaker and entrepreneur. You may recognize her from Netflix’s ‘Dash & Lily’ created by Shawn Levy (‘Stranger Things’) and Nick Jonas, as well as other film and television projects. She has recently completed her directorial debut ‘As The Tide Comes In’ which will be viewable shortly after the festival circuit!

As a highly spiritual being, tarot has been a strong confidante, guide, and passion of hers. With 6+ years of experience reading tarot, she has been crowned as the witch of her friend group and beams whenever asked to do a reading for someone. She recently shared her gifts in Sayulita, Mexico by creating a tarot experience, as well as having her own artist booth showcasing her deck at The Other Art Fair.

“The idea of Retro Witch Tarot came to me after an epiphany I experienced through my own personal reading. I wanted to merge my love of collage art with my passion of healing people with the help of divination tools. When I found Emilia’s work I knew she was perfect and I was eager to have her on board. Emilia Gutiérrez, Illustrator

Emilia Gutiérrez was born in Argentina. She is a visual artist, writer,  and has a degree in Communication Sciences. She published the books "Bosque" , a collection of poems written at the Manta Artistic Residence, and "De Pronto Delia" a biography of the artist Delia Vargas, who received a grant from the National Arts Fund (Fondo Nacional de las Artes). She exhibited at the 2nd International Collage Exhibition at the Retroavangarda Gallery in Warsaw, Poland. She is an active member of the SAC, Sociedad Argentina del Collage, and shares her artistic work through the Instagram account @cerezanegracollage.

She lives in Buenos Aires with her boyfriend, a turtle and two cats.

“My first encounter with tarot was through a friend who drew cards. At the time, I was in awe of the symbolism and illustrations. A few years later, I bought myself a deck. A month after, Keana called me to work together and create Retro Witch Tarot. I always remember the readings that they gave me and the problems or challenges that I was facing at the time. The tarot was a guide and a way to ask myself better questions for my life. 

Meeting Keana was very important and revealing. That these links occur with such love and distant people was also the work of the tarot, and for that I am deeply grateful.”
